"Wish You Were Here" is a 1987
British comedy-drama film starring Emily Lloyd and Tom Bell. It was written and
directed by David Leland. The movie was based loosely on the memoirs of the
British madam Cynthia Payne as an adolescent growing up on the Sussex coast. It
was filmed in the West Sussex towns of Worthing and Bognor Regis. The reason
why I am analysing this film's poster is because I think that the bottom
section of the poster for "Wish You Were Here"looks very
similar to some of the shots from our films which are pictured below. The
poster of "Wish You Were Here" features a faded picture of the
protagonist in the background and an eclipsed shot of the British seaside.
We think that the shots which are shown
below are very similar to the bottom corner of the poster for "Wish You
Were Here" because they both feature a female protagonist standing next to
the metal railing near the sea with a retro looking bike, because of this we
are considering using one of the pictures below as the main aspect of the
poster for our film.
